A Taste of African Cultures celebration in Shepparton
Traditional African rhythms, sounds, colours and flavours will be on offer during the fourth annual A Taste of African Cultures celebration on Saturday, 4th of May. St Paul’s African House will be filled with cultural displays showcasing the rich traditions of different African cultures in regional Victoria in celebration of talent, music, drumming, dancing and cuisine.

Memorial Service for Sri Lanka
The Sri Lankan Association of the Goulburn Valley invites you to a memorial service to remember the beautiful souls lost in the Easter Sunday tragedy in Sri Lanka. Prayer for Sri Lanka will be conducted at St Brendan’s Church, Shepparton, on evening of Friday, 3 May at 6pm. All are invited to bring flowers to lay at the Shrine of St Brendan.

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre exciting opportunities for people all over Australia to have fun on a run (or walk), raise money and champion hope for people seeking asylum! You can also wear your support for refugees loud and proud with your own Run 4 Refugees t-shirt, a gift from us to our awesome fundraisers.

Activities for strengthening community participation by seniors are in demand, and a local training course will deliver skills to those interested in leading training programs for Seniors.
Lailat ul Bara’h (15 Shabaan – Night of Forgiveness)
Bara’a Night or Mid-Sha’ban is a holiday observed by various Muslim communities on the night between 14 and 15 Sha’ban. It is regarded as a night when the fortunes of men for the coming year are decided and when Allah may forgive sinners. 15 Shaban will be celebrated at Ferrari Park, Mooroopna on Saturday, 13 April from 12 – 4pm.
A Taste of African Cultures
St. Paul’s African House will be once again hosting A Taste of African Cultures celebrating our African community and culture. It will be held on Saturday 4 May 2019, 2-8pm.
Community Conversations – Unpacking the impact of terrorism on our communities
In the light of the Christchurch Massacre, a local initiative – Community Conversations – driven by the young people of Shepparton and the Goulburn Valley will take place at Queens Gardens tomorrow evening – March 26th, from 6:30 pm.
Fitted for Work
Fitted for Work welcomes all women (trans and cis), including non-binary and gender non-conforming people and all those who identify as women, who have experienced disadvantage and are seeking employment. We believe self-definition is at the discretion of the individual. Fitted for Work will conduct an information session at St Paul’s African House on Friday 22nd March at 1pm.
