Afro Beat Festival 2019AfroBeat 2019 is part of a two day festival held in Refugee Week and is supported by Albury-Wodonga Ethnic Communities Council, City of Wodonga, and the Victorian Government.


Experience the talent, culture and excitement of AfroBeat 2019 on Friday, June 21 with traditional dance and music, hip-hop and contemporary Afrobeats highlighting the colour and excitement of African culture.

Friday 21st June | CULTURAL NIGHT
6:30 pm to 9:00pm at The Cube Wodonga – soak up the culture of traditional music and dance and the energy of contemporary hip-hop and Afrobeat’s of local and interstate performers, as well as a stunning cultural fashion show. All ages welcome. Tickets $5; Children under 12 years free.

Saturday 22nd June | MARKETPLACE
10:30 am to 2:00pm at The Cube Wodonga – the festival continues with an African marketplace with arts, craft, traditional foods, workshops, market-stalls, performances and more! Admission is free.

The two day festival continues at The Cube Wodonga on Saturday, June 22 from 10.30am to 2pm, with an African marketplace where you can enjoy arts and craft, traditional foods, workshops, performances and more! No bookings required for the marketplace on Saturday

Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District enabled 45 local people to travel and attend Afro Beat.
