Fact Sheet 2– What is the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)?

These fact sheets are available in 39 languages.

A fact sheet has also been developed for interpreters and translators and can be accessed at the end of this web page. This fact sheet provides information to interpreters and translators to assist them prepare for NDIS related phone calls and face-to-face meetings.

Interpreter Fact Sheet- The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

AMPARO Advocacy was pleased to partner with Community Resource Unit (CRU), Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN), Mamre Association Inc. to increase the participation of people with disability and their families from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, in activities that aim to prepare them for the National Disability Insurance Scheme. These factsheets have been produced as part of this important work.

AMPARO Advocacy would like to acknowledge the contribution towards the cost of these translations made by the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services and the Multicultural Development Association (MDA).
