A picnic day and fun day at Thompson Beach Cobram. A day out for family and friends with options to ensure everyone enjoys this day at Cobram.

Food: BYO meat etc. AFC will provide Hot Water tea,coffee, Milk & Milo.
Needs: Please bring your own folding chairs for extra seating.
After lunch many options: Thompson Beach is a lovely setting on the banks pf the Iconic Murray River – a great place to relax and enjoy chatting to friends. There is a beach area but we advise the river is unsafe for children to swim in as a possibility of dangerous undertows especially when river is flowing high. It’s up to the parents to look after their children. There is an option for the safety of the children – there is a swimming pool back in the town (Cobram)
An additional attraction now available is the Cobba Paddle Boat Cruises that depart from Thompson Beach during the day for a cruise on the Murray River Cruises vary during the day. There is a River Cruise: 1 hour by Afternoon Timetable available. A 1 hour cruise costs Adults $20, Pensioners $18, Kids $10 and those U/5 travel free.
