2020 Shepparton Apology Breakfast

Three Australian FlagThe Shepparton Region Reconciliation Group will host the 2020 Shepparton Apology Breakfast to acknowledge the 12th Anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations on Thursday 13 February 2020 at 8:00AM.


You are invited to the Shepparton Apology Breakfast to acknowledge the 12th Anniversary of the National Apology.

This event includes a light breakfast.

The guest speaker is Lena-Jean Charles-Loffel.

Lena-Jean Charles-Loffel is a proud Yorta Yorta/Gunai Kurnai woman from Mooroopna and living in Melbourne the past 10 years. In 2015 she graduated from Melbourne University with a Masters in Public Health.

Lena now works at Spark Health (an Aboriginal Health Promotion Business) as a Senior Project Officer and has had the privilege to engage with the Aboriginal Community at a grass roots level through multiple programs.

Lena is particularly passionate about working with children to create healthy lifestyle ambassadors for the next generation. When Lena is not working, she enjoys travelling the world, keeping active with her friends and doing photography.

Date: Thursday 13 February 2020
Location: Queens Gardens Shepparton (corner of Nixon and Welsford Streets Shepparton).
Time: 7.45am for an 8am start.
