#FACEofShepp (Fashion and Cultural Event)

10 AM to 2 PM

This is an opportunity for young people of a multi-cultural background to realise their creativity in the field of fashion and design.

Got an idea to design something to wear? Come along and participate in this exciting project starting with a workshop facilitated by local fashion designer Stacey Popovski.

Participants will be mentored over 12 months to develop their vision and build new skills in the world of fashion, design as well as business. This will contribute to a Certificate in Fashion & Design. The participants will produce a collective showcase of work for the 2021 Shepparton Festival and be able to launch an exciting new career or nurture your hobby.

For more information contact Kathy Fuller 0404 091 758 or Fiona Smolenaars 0407 517 998.

Numbers will be limited so register your interest today.

This is partnership between SAM, Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District and Holmesglen College

Over the next few weeks as we lead up to the kickoff workshop on Saturday 21 March we will be introducing you to some of the amazing and generous people that have made this possible. First up we would like you to meet the very talented Stacey Popovski. Stacey was born and raised in Shepparton and is now a Melbourne based fashion designer with a bridal label that offers both bespoke couture and ready to wear designs. We are thrilled to have Stacey on board as one of key mentors who will share her journey and learnings in the world of fashion with our participants.
