Our Newly Renovated Offices – Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District

It was a pleasure to welcome The Honorable Ingrid Stitt MP and other distinguished guests to officially re-open our newly renovated offices in Shepparton. This was a significant milestone in the ongoing growth and development of a vital community hub, which continues to serve as a cornerstoce for multiculturalism, inclusivity and support in our region. Thank you to the Honorable Jacinta Allan MP – Premier, for her kind wishes, ‘your work truly helps to make Victoria a more diverse and welcoming place. We’re proud to have supported your new facility, a fantastic upgraded building to fit the fantastic work you do’, acknowledged the Premier. We are thankful for the generous support of the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Vic) via their Multicultural Community Infrastructure Fund. The transformative renovation has modernized our spaces for community engagement, program delivery and community support.

	The Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District acknowledges the Yorta Yorta People of the land which comprises the Goulburn Valley. We pay respect to tribal Elders, past, present and emerging and we celebrate their continuing culture and acknowledge the memory of their ancestors.
	The Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District is a peak body whose mission is to promote and represent the social, cultural and economic well-being of ethnic communities in the Goulburn Valley Region through the provision of quality and innovative settlement, refugee support, community development, and information and advocacy services.
