Gerson Lopez, 20, is among the over 25,000 young people surveyed in a new report that showed for the first time equity and discrimination were the top national concerns for young people.

Chiaka Moneke was working as a family lawyer helping women recover from the carnage of violent and broken relationships when she decided to take some of her own advice. “Every time I’d go to work, I’d go to the bathroom and think about the interview I just had with a woman, and I would think to myself, ‘why can’t you take some of your own advice?'” she said. But her decision to leave her abusive husband had huge consequences.
During the period 16-22 October 2020, the Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District teamed up with staff from the City of Greater Shepparton to provide local multicultural communities with immediate information about Covid-19 and local testing sites.
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) Extreme Hardship Support Program is emergency financial relief to help people pay for food, medicine or bills during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It is provided by the Victorian Government, with Red Cross. The program also provides information and referrals to those in need.
