Boxes of thoughtfully chosen food items are being distributed to 50 households around Shepparton this week, as COVID-affected communities struggle to stock pantries with the essentials. The donation was supplied by Future Foundation for Kids, a Melbourne-based not-for-profit run by volunteers with Sri Lankan backgrounds.

The drive-through COVID-19 testing site at the Shepparton Showgrounds will open and close earlier from tomorrow, Wednesday January 12. The hours at the walk-in site remain the same. From tomorrow, Wednesday 7 January, the testing site hours are:

  • Shepparton Showgrounds, High Street Shepparton (enter from Archer Street) – Drive through site, open Monday – Friday, 7am – 3.30pm. Closed weekends (may open if required, keep an eye on the GV Health Facebook page)
  • GV Health Acute Respiratory Clinic, Graham Street Shepparton – Walk up site, open 7 days, 8am-4pm
