UN Pocketbook on Human Rights and Screening in Border Security – Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District

The United Nations Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force has released a pocket book in order to strengthen the awareness and protection of human rights in border security management. The pocketbook is a useful primer on human rights for asylum seekers and refugees crossing borders.

	The Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District acknowledges the Yorta Yorta People of the land which comprises the Goulburn Valley. We pay respect to tribal Elders, past, present and emerging and we celebrate their continuing culture and acknowledge the memory of their ancestors.
