We currently have flood advice and warnings for Moderate Level at Sevens Creeks, Moderate Level on the Broken River and Minor Level on the Goulburn River.
The warnings are updated regularly on the VicEmergency App and website and these need to be revisited across social media as regularly as possible. SES as the control agency for a flood event works with the Bureau of Meteorology to gather evidence to produce these warnings.
Council’s most recent Facebook post regarding these warnings can be found here
We currently have some road closures due to flooding and this will likely increase and the shared path between Mooroopna and Shepparton has closed today.
To stay up to date with warnings we recommend the community download the VicEmergency APP or visit https://www.emergency.vic.gov.au/respond/
Council is in regular contact with SES and we are undertaking some preparation in relation to the flood warnings and the impacts we may see from these. With SES as the Control Agency we will await their advice before taking any actions.
