Familycare, as part of the Regional Parenting Programs collection will present Tuning in to Kids: for parents of 2-10-year-olds workshop – now being offered ONLINE. This event is on Tuesday 1 August, 2023. This workshop is for parents and/or carers in the Goulburn Region (GreaterShepparton, Moira, Strathbogie, Mitchell and Murrindindi).

Growing up well in Australia: Supporting mental health and wellbeing for children with disability from migrant and refugee backgrounds is a survey for Service Providers and Community Organisations such as the Ethnic Council. Interested persons are invited to participate and complete the survey. The survey is conducted by Flinders University and is confidential.
The Minister for the NDIS, Bill Shorten, asked for an *independent review* of the NDIS in October 2022. The aim of the review is for *participants* to ● be the focus of the NDIS, trust the NDIS and feel good about the NDIS. Participants are people with disability who have an NDIS plan.

On 1 July 2023, the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP) launched an updatedAMEPOnline , a free English language learning website available to anyone, anywhere and anytime. AMEPOnline can be accessed on your computer or mobile phone, whether you are enrolled in the the Adult Migrant English Program or not.
Mooroopna Children and Families Centre host the Greater Shepparton City Council, Best Start initiative of Navigating Parenthood. This takes place on each Wednesday during school term a guest speaker from a local organisation or service provides an information session on their programs with time for questions during or one on one after the session. Sessions run from 9.15am to 10.15, FREE, and children are welcome.
The Uluru Statement from the Heart is calling on all Australians to support a First Nations Voice to Parliament by voting Yes in the upcoming referendum. Multicultural community organisations are responding to this call by co-operating across diversities of culture to heal our country and unify our nation. Victoria has reported more than 22,500 cases of flu this year, with almost half of these occurring in children or adolescents under the age of 15 years. However, less than 1 in 5 of this age group have been vaccinated against influenza this year.
