Cohealth will deliver the ‘Professional Standards for Bi-cultural Work’ training online in November.
The training is specifically relevant for people working on projects or community engagement that could benefit from the inclusion of bi-cultural workers, for those already engaged with bi-cultural workers and for bi-cultural workers themselves!
We will engage in critical conversations and explore how the professional standards can support collaboration, cultural safety, and community-led engagement; centring the expertise of bi-cultural workers.
Topics covered include;
- Roles and responsibilities of bi-cultural workers
- The benefits and challenges of bi-cultural Work
- Inclusive recruitment strategies
- Cultural safety
- Ethical considerations
The training is delivered online across 2 workshops
