Familycare are hosting several community information sessions for carers over the coming months focussing on carer support and the Carer Gateway. There are two sessions scheduled for February at Shepparton and Mooroopna. Carers don’t need to register, they can drop in between the times listed below and have their questions answered.
If you are looking after someone with disability, amedical condition, mental illness or is frail due to age, Carer Gateway can help you. FamilyCare will hold two sessions during February 2024, to provide information about accessing and using the Carer Gateway.

Staff from local Carer Gateway provider FamilyCare will take you through how easy it is for carers to receive in-person, phone and online services and support.
You will hear about:
- counselling – in person, online or over the phone
- respite care – emergency and planned respite
- financial support packages
- meeting other carers
- online skills courses
