In 2022, it was estimated that there were 401,300 Australians living with dementia*. Primary Health Networks have been funded to develop local dementia resources, as part of the Commonwealth Government’s response to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety. Several resources are available in English, Greek, Italian, Simplified Chinese and Vietnamese.

Dementia Australia’s Dementia Guide
The Dementia Guide is a 180-page guide that supports people living with dementia, their carers and family, to understand more about dementia, the treatments, support and services available.
The information in this guide is divided into sections with each section relating to a particular stage of the dementia journey.
It includes information about living well with dementia and making plans for the future.
