Family Haven – Mooroopna – Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District

Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project is excited to open the Family Haven at Mooroopna. We will be opening each week Tuesday – Thursday between 9.30am – 3pm.

The Family Haven if you haven’t heard about it in Mooroopna. We are open 15-17 Young Street, across the road from SPC in the old Canteen building. We are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 9:30am-3pm and are running it like a playgroup.

The door is open to all families without appointment. They are welcome to come in, hang out, we provide morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, it’s free, the children can play, we cater from ages 0-100.

We are supporting families with what ever they need as well e.g. food hampers, helping with referrals, linking them with services, etc. GV Pregnancy Support are in on Tuesdays. On Mondays and Fridays I have free to be able to help families with going to appointments, doing home visits, school visits, etc. We are welcoming all families from all towns and are looking for volunteers as well.
