We want all refugees to have better access to sporting opportunities. Sport is not only fun. It helps refugees, to heal and to rebuild their lives. UNHCR calls for all refugees to have access to sport and opportunity to fulfil their dreams, on and off the field.

Whether playing in a park or sprinting in a stadium – sport changes lives.

At the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, we want all refugees to have better access to sporting opportunities. Sport is not only fun. It helps refugees, to heal and to rebuild their lives.

Refugees are more than ‘one word’. More than ‘one story’. They are athletes, basketball players, martial artists, sprinters, footballers. Coaches and captains. They are team players.

The United Nations High Commission for Refugees calls for all refugees to have access to sport and opportunity to fulfil their dreams, on and off the field. Stand with us and #cheerforrefugees!
