Many Shepparton participants braved a cold windy day for their vaccination. Jabba the Bus called at St Georges Road School and set up shop to offer vaccinations. Shepparton is down to just four active cases following the outbreak during the past month!
Many thanks to Goulburn Valley Health, Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District, Shepparton English Language Centre, Greater Shepparton City Council, St Paul`s African House & Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. Wise Well Women Community Health Educators and Susan Johnson along with the McIntosh Vaccination Hub team all collaborated to bring this event together and enable many people from Shepparton’s settlement communities to have a vaccination locally. (Many don’t have transport to McIntosh Centre, so vaccination locally at their children’s school was a blessing!)
Thank you to the many who made today at St Georges Rd Primary School another great success for Jabba the Bus. We would like to share a selection of
images capturing Shepparton participants who braved a cold windy day for their vaccination.
