The Victorian Government is supporting small business owners, their employees and trusted advisers with helpful tools and services through Headway – a wellbeing initiative for small businesses. A range of free services is available including business advice, financial counselling, and mental health and wellbeing support.
The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness and encourage everyone including those in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities to use the free services available.
Support For Small Businesses
The Headway initiative comprises a number programs, tools and resources developed through partnerships with leading researchers, mental health organisations, workplace safety experts and industry peak bodies.
These include:

Create a mentally healthy workplace
Business Victoria has partnered with WorkSafe Victoria to provide a free online resource to support businesses in creating a safe and mentally
healthy workplace.
The WorkWell Toolkit offers step-by-step advice and easy to use resources specifically tailored to better support small businesses and their advisers.
The WorkWell Toolkit is designed to support business owners to address work-related factors that influence the health and wellbeing of the workplace and prevent mental injury.
The topics include: role clarity, fatigue, respect, working alone or in isolation, change management, leadership, alcohol and other drugs, prevention of work-related violence and aggression, and more.
