Celebrating Cultural Diversity Week 2022
In observance of Cultural Diversity Week 2022, Ethnic Council of Sheppparton and District and Greater Shepparton City Council would like to invite you to the Cultural Diversity Week – Multicultural Morning Tea on Thursday 24th March 2022. This event is organised by the Greater Shepparton City Council and Ethnic Council of Shepparton and it will be held at the Shepparton Senior Citizens Hall from 10.00 am to 11:30 am.

Shepparton’s Wise Well Women multicultural health program
A group of multicultural women is working to improve health outcomes in Shepparton. They are called Wise Well Women and have a group of multicultural health educators. The University of Melbourne has released a report on the program and its impacts. Wise Well Women says more ongoing funding is needed to continue its work.

It’s now even easier for people aged 70 and over to get their third COVID-19 vaccination dose with a free vaccination at home appointment.
The Victorian Government has introduced free vaccination at home for people 70 years and over to make accessing vaccination more convenient.
Through this program, a healthcare professional such as a doctor or nurse will visit your home to administer the COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccination at home can be booked by you, a family member or carer. This free state-run service is also available to people in aged care services if requested.
