Huma Media proudly announces the release of the Sehat we Zindagi (Health & Life) series, featuring 19 in-depth, 20-minute programs in Dari/Farsi on topics like mental health, women’s health, and domestic violence.
Health and Life
Health and Life has covered some serious issues currently being experienced within our communities – mental health, refugee trauma, women’s health and domestic violence.
The series aims to raise community awareness of these issues, especially among vulnerable people who arrived in Australia recently, and the help that is available here. Every episode features a professional psychologist and a counsellor or academic from within the Afghanistani community, and audiences are encouraged to seek professional help. HumaNview series
HumaNview is our signature series that we produce factual videos about different issues that impact our community, including human injustices. This show is written by our local academics, journalist, writers and lawyers. The aim of HumaNview is to raise awareness about historical and current injustices taking place in Afghanistan (such as the Hazara Genocide) and also to share information about daily life in Australia that can help people adapt to their new home. These programs, created by young Afghan refugees, aim to address community-wide issues, challenge stigmas, and promote well-being. Please share this resource with your contacts and distribution channels.
