Established in 1998, The LOTE Agency has almost a quarter of a century’s experience of delivering multicultural research projects, communication campaigns and translation services. Their mission is to break down cultural barriers to social cohesion. The LOTE (Language Other Than English) Agency team has a deep understanding of Australian Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities. They are seeking participants from Regional Victoria for a paid research opportunity.
LOTE are looking for 6 x participants for an online interview in mid-June.
Research Background:
The research aims to get insights from the multicultural community on their preferences in accessing news from media in Australia.
Criteria for participation:
⟶ Must come from a Multicultural and Linguistically diverse background
⟶ Must be at least 18 years old
⟶ Must be able to take part in the interview in English
⟶ Must be able to participate in a one-hour online interview through Zoom
⟶ Must be able to answer a 3-question screener to qualify
Incentive:
All participants who qualify and participate in the interview will receive a $100 e-gift voucher (to be provided after the interview)
Interview schedule:
↣ Monday, June 10th to Friday, June 14th.
↣ Interviews can be scheduled anytime between the hours of 9 am – 9 pm.
↣ Interviews will be done over Zoom, so access to a device with online connections is essential.
This is a great opportunity for community members to have their voices heard and represented while earning some extra income.
