Settlement Council of Australia – Statement on Christchurch shooting


In light of the horrific attacks in Christchurch last Friday,the Settlement Council of Australia would like to acknowledge the heartfelt outpouring of people across Australia, New Zealand and the world in solidarity with our Muslim communities, and to stand up to hatred and violence.

The Settlement Council of Australia (SCoA) expresses its sympathy and support for the victims of the shootings at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.

SCoA stands side by side with people across the world in promoting unity, tolerance and respect.

SCoA is the national peak body for Australia’s dynamic settlement services sector, currently representing around 100 settlement agencies across Australia.
