Changing the landscape is an evidence-based resource that shows that violence against women and girls with disabilities is preventable, not inevitable.

This national resource names ableism and gender inequality as the two consistent, intersecting drivers of violence against women and girls with disabilities, and sets out the actions needed to address these drivers and stop this violence before it starts.

Changing the landscape outlines that we can all play a role in preventing this violence, by addressing its drivers, grounding our actions in evidence and making sure safety, dignity and respect for women and girls with disabilities are at the heart of our strategies.

This is not just about ending the alarmingly high rates of violence against women and girls with disabilities, but also about building a society where all women are safe, valued, respected and have equal rights and opportunities.

The online link to the full framework and executive summary for Changing the landscape will be available at the launch.

This event will be held over Zoom with an Auslan interpreter and live captioning.

We look forward to seeing you at our launch.
