Social Inclusion Week 2021 – Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District

Social Inclusion Week Australia is about encouraging communities to reconnect and be inclusive of all cultures, age groups, nationalities and abilities.

Founded by Jonathon Welch AM, and now delivered and managed by Play It Forward, Social Inclusion Week was launched in 2009 as a way for communities to share knowledge and experience, and raise awareness.

It is an annual initiative that takes place the last week in November. This year, Social Inclusion Week Australia runs from Saturday 20- Sunday 28 November, 2021

	The Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District acknowledges the Yorta Yorta People of the land which comprises the Goulburn Valley. We pay respect to tribal Elders, past, present and emerging and we celebrate their continuing culture and acknowledge the memory of their ancestors.
	The Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District is a peak body whose mission is to promote and represent the social, cultural and economic well-being of ethnic communities in the Goulburn Valley Region through the provision of quality and innovative settlement, refugee support, community development, and information and advocacy services.
