The Victorian Refugee Health Network have met with the Country Fire Authority (CFA) to discuss how the refugee community are supported in their understanding of bushfire risks in Australia.
The CFA are keen to know what the community needs when it comes to fire safety preparedness and planning. . Please fill out the questions in the survey and the Victorian Refugee Health Network will provide this feedback to CFA in their efforts to support the local multicultural communities.
Two new video campaigns in Dari and Arabic (with English subtitles) have been launched to encourage open discussion about mental health and seeking support, as well as informing community members about the current mental health reforms in Victoria.
The Victorian Refugee Health Network is conducting a survey with settlement, health and community services to better understand how women from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds access and navigate health services in Victoria. The survey takes 5 minutes to complete and is open until 18 August 2023.
