Congolese faceThe Goulburn Valley Congolese Association invites you to attend their Congolese Independence Day celebration on 6 July 2019 at St Paul’s African House, Poplar Ave, Shepparton from 2pm.


The Goulburn Valley Congolese Association has the pleasure to inform you about our event taking place on Saturday the 6th of July 2019 at St Paul’s African House, 54 Poplar Avenue, from 2pm to 8pm.

Unlike any other, this event is to commemorate with our families and friends the Independence day of our beloved country of Congo, a day dedicated to our youth and our children(the future), giving them hope and a sense of belonging through activities such as the meaning of freedom, cultural activities and fun historical facts.

The theme of the day being “Freedom, Culture and Education“, We would like to invite your presence and that of your family to come and celebrate with us in our best festive of the year. Whether you live in Melbourne, Bendigo, Wodonga or any other part of Victoria, you are all welcome to join us for our Independence Celebration.
