Greater Shepparton Nepalese Community LogoHoli is a popular and significant Hindu festival celebrated as the Festival of Colours, Love, and Spring. Greater Shepparton Nepalese Community invites you to their observance of Holi at Ferrari Park, Mooroopna on Sunday 24 March 2024. All are welcome.


Holi is one of the major festivals of Hindus. It is celebrated in South Asian countries, especially in India and Nepal. Holi in Nepal is basically a celebration of colors. Hindus around the country mark the festivity by playing with bright-colored powders and lighting bonfires. Holi is usually celebrated with loved ones, family members, friends, and community members.

Greater Shepparton Nepalese Community is Pleased and Super excited to Announce That we are hosting a exciting cultural event Holi Festival of Colours on 24 March 2024 SUNDAY from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Mooroopna Ferrari Park (opposite to Mooroopna Police Station).

It is a Free event and open to everyone. Main activities during this event will be;

* Exchange of Holi colours with family, friends and broad community.
* Nepali Music and Dancing, exchange greetings of festival.
* Community BBQ, Bring a plate of food to share if possible. Community will provide Holi colours to share, however we encourage to bring your own.
* Fun games for kids.

Holi Flyer

Holi also called the “Festival of Colors” which is a Nepali spring festival celebrated all across Nepal. It signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, the end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, dance, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships.
