Equatoria region in South SudanThe annual FECAA National Conference will be held from 4 -5 October 2019 at the University of South Australia. FECAA is the peak national body representing the Equatoria Community (commonly known as Equatorians) in Australia. The Equatorians compose of 36 different ethics tribes, out of 64 tribes, in South Sudan. All these 36 tribes are from linguistically diverse backgrounds but see themselves as one under the Equatoria banner.

All these 36 tribes are from linguistically diverse backgrounds but see themselves as one under the Equatoria banner.

FECAA focuses on building inclusive communities, collaboration and partnerships with all established service providers to provide leadership through community grassroots programs to increase their participation in education and workforce by also working with specialist services to address the impacts of war and violence on community and children and how to work with members of communities who are affected to prevent or minimize the impacts of torture and trauma on children in in the communities.
