As part of COVID-19 Community Outreach, the Ethnic Communities Council of Victoria is seeking people to fill Community Outreach positions. There are multiple vacancies, and people with multi-lingual skills would be at an advantage.
Our purpose is to influence and collaborate with government, business, community and all individuals to support our vision of a culturally diverse and harmonious society that is just, fair and inclusive for all Victorians.
ECCV’s COVID-19 Community Outreach Project is funded by the Victorian Government through the Working for Victoria fund to respond to the needs of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities impacted by COVID-19.
ECCV will employ Community Outreach Workers to provide timely and proactive support to people and families from CALD communities, facilitating their access to critical supports during and through the post COVID-19 environment. The role includes liaising with partners and community stakeholders and reporting to government.
The project will be delivered across metropolitan Melbourne requiring staff to work directly with ECCV community associations and members, supporting harder to reach migrant and refugee communities. ECCV is looking to employ as soon as possible.
