A Taste of African Cultures 2021 – Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District

This family friendly festival is an exhilarating annual event showcasing the rich traditions of different African cultures in regional Victoria and celebrating their amazing talents, music, drumming, dancing and cuisine.

This festival is the most favourite event in our calendar every year. Come and join in the tastes, sights, sounds and rhythm of the many African cultures in Greater Shepparton. There’ll be delicious African food and coffee, drumming and dance workshops, local African performers, African fashions parade, African handcrafts, local African business owners and lots more.

Bring spending money as you will want to try the delicious food and buy from the stalls. This is an alcohol free event.

	The Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District acknowledges the Yorta Yorta People of the land which comprises the Goulburn Valley. We pay respect to tribal Elders, past, present and emerging and we celebrate their continuing culture and acknowledge the memory of their ancestors.
	The Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District is a peak body whose mission is to promote and represent the social, cultural and economic well-being of ethnic communities in the Goulburn Valley Region through the provision of quality and innovative settlement, refugee support, community development, and information and advocacy services.
