Covid-19 Vaccine Jobs open – Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District

The Migration Council of Australia – in Victoria – are working to give Covid 19 safety advice to various communities. There are job vacancies for people from African, South Sudanese, Somali, Burmese, Pasifika, along with Hindi and Tamil speaking peoples. The duties include activities promoting trust and confidence in the COVID-19 vaccine.

The auspicing body of Harmony Alliance – Migration Council Australia – is working with the Victorian Government to support networks of multicultural and ethno-specific health professionals and community organisations to promote COVID-19 vaccine uptake across culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

The Migration Council of Australia is recruiting several contractors as Communications and Engagement Advisers to support and act on behalf of their respective networks of multicultural and ethno-specific health professionals and community organisations.

The contractors will deliver community engagement activities promoting trust and confidence in the COVID-19 vaccine uptake utilising their well-developed community networks and relationships.

This is an opportunity to support and promote the COVID-19 vaccine rollout among your communities in Victoria and enhance their health and wellbeing.

Migration Council Australia is seeking applications from independent and driven professionals/contractors who are experienced in community engagement within their culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Advisers from the following communities are invited to apply:

– African diaspora community
– South Sudanese community
– Somali community
– Burmese community
– Pasifika community
– South Asian Hindi speaking community
– South Asian Tamil speaking community

Contracts are fixed-term (7 months, until December 2021), either full time or part time, and contractors must be based in Victoria.
