The Annual General Meeting of the Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District will take place on Thursday 23rd September 2021 at 8.00pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to:
- adopt the Minutes of the previous AGM
- receive the audited annual financial statements,
- receive reports from the President, Treasurer and Manager,
- elect the office bearers for the coming year and
- appoint the independent Auditors.

Memberships need to be renewed on an annual basis prior to the Annual Meeting to ensure that you will be able to vote at that meeting. The initial closing date for the renewal of memberships is Friday the 3rd September 2021
Both a contact email address and the Endorsement of the Community that you are representing are mandatory details on the application form.
Completed application forms can be scanned and emailed to the Ethnic Council at info@ethniccouncil.com.au which is preferred however you may wish to photograph the form and email it or use regular mail services.
On Tuesday 14th September 2021 the Agenda, Presidents, Managers and Treasurers Reports plus Financials will be emailed to all approved members along with an invitation and Zoom link to the AGM scheduled for Thursday 23rd September. This email will include the assigned voting rights where applicable (4 votes per community). Voting at the AGM will be in person (virtually) and no proxies will be allowed. Nomination forms for Board positions will be provided with this email with instructions to return them via email by Monday 20th September 2021.
NOMINATION FOR BOARD OF MANAGEMENT
On Tuesday 21st September 2021 all Members will be emailed details of nominations for positions on the Board. If no election is necessary Members will be advised.
