About this event

Health promotion, community, local government and settlement service workers in Greater Shepparton – you are invited to gather with colleagues, bring a healthy lunch, and take a deep dive into the Shepparton Culture Kitchen project!

This special lunchtime livestream watch party will be a unique opportunity to connect and converse with some amazing local women and creatives of colour, who have drawn on their own stories, cultural heritages and lived experiences, to bring new perspectives on what healthy eating is all about – definitely more than just what you eat!

They will interweave discussion with showings of digital stories and health promotion messages they have created – exciting new health promotion resources that offer new discourse around health equity and new responses for better health outcomes.

The session will also offer local insights into how cross sectoral partnerships, the arts and community self-determined approaches can provide transformative and creative new solutions to stubborn health challenges.
