The Greater Shepparton City Council in collaboration with the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission have come together to run an online information session to educate and empower multicultural and multifaith communities about racism, understanding your rights and taking action on Monday 22nd March 2021. This will be an online event.

The Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission helps people who have been treated unfairly. With this in mind, the Commission has been translating important information into ten languages and simplified English. Now, we are very pleased to share the finished work in a new section on our website.

	The Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District acknowledges the Yorta Yorta People of the land which comprises the Goulburn Valley. We pay respect to tribal Elders, past, present and emerging and we celebrate their continuing culture and acknowledge the memory of their ancestors.
	The Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District is a peak body whose mission is to promote and represent the social, cultural and economic well-being of ethnic communities in the Goulburn Valley Region through the provision of quality and innovative settlement, refugee support, community development, and information and advocacy services.
