Introducing New Migrant Children to Cricket

Girls CricketThe Ethnic Council of Shepparton will be hosting the “Introducing new migrant children to cricket” session on Friday 26th of February 2021 from 4.30 pm to 7.00 pm at Shepparton United Cricket Club in Princess Park – Quinan Parade, Shepparton. This is supported by Cricket Victoria, Shepparton / Youth United Cricket Club and Greater Shepparton City Council. This session is available to Girls and Boys.


This free session is to introduce cricket to Shepparton’s new and emerging migrant children (especially aged between 9 and 12 years old) and for their parents or caregivers to engage and integrate with wider community and learn some new life skills. This session is available to Girls and Boys.

Special appearance by Tillakaratne Dilshan, a former captain of the Sri Lanka national cricket team and one of the most exciting batsmen in the modern era. Dilshan is often regarded as one of the most innovative one Day International batsmen of all time.
