English language centre welcomes donation

Shepparton English Language Centre has recently received five refurbished bicycles, thanks to Shepparton Central Rotary Club.

“Victoria Police Shepparton generously donated a number of bikes a few months ago,” the club’s international and community service director Sam Atukorala said.

“Thanks to the support of the Shepparton Central Rotary Club and the expertise of Leigh and Brett from Leading Edge Cycles, these bikes have been repaired.

Shepparton’s Common Ground cafe was radiating energy on Friday, June 24, with women filling almost every seat in the place. The Ethnic Council of Shepparton welcomed back some friendly faces — and some new — to its Friendship Cafe.
