A research project will be undertaken in Shepparton to collect experiences and produce three anti-racism messages which will be distributed to create change. The goal of the Anti-Racism Hallmark is to suggest research and interventions to combat racism at both the interpersonal and structural levels, with government, community organisations and businesses.

In 2018, the Modern Slavery Act was introduced to reduce the risks of labour exploitation in Australia. Larger businesses – those with annual consolidated revenue of at least AU$100 million – are now required to report on the risks of exploitation in their supply chains and the actions they are taking to eliminate them.
The term ‘modern slavery’ describes situations where offenders use coercion, threats or deception to exploit victims and undermine their freedom.
EMERGE is aimed at providing Goulburn Valley residents with an opportunity to get together and enjoy a night of free entertainment, following recent floods. There will be live music, including a headline act and several local supporting acts, as well as food and drink stalls. GOTAFE has engaged JL Productions to run the event and is being supported by Melbourne University and La Trobe University.
