Travel Exemption for people from humanitarian backgroundsAs of 1 November, if someone in Australia who is a citizen or permanent resident has a parent overseas who has also been granted a humanitarian visa, they will be exempt from travel restrictions. This means they can now apply for a travel exemption online and it should be granted based on this relationship alone.
