On Monday 11 May, the Friendship Cafe will visit a lady Policewoman and hear her journey in becoming a Police Officer.
Changing Men’s Behaviour – Online sessions
Dr Santino and Deng Kor will be speakers on Changing Men’s Behaviours and Respectful Relationships in Families, in Zoom sessions commencing on 6 May 2020 from 2pm. The goal is to strengthen family relationships based on cultural approaches.
Positive Parenting – Women’s Online Sessions
Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District in collaboration with Catholic Care and Primary Care Connect will present free session in improving family relationships/family health for settlement communities of Greater Shepparton. The session will be conducted online using Zoom on 22 April 2020. This session is for women.

On 20 March at 8.00am at FamilyCare in Welsford Street, Shepparton, the Goulburn Family Violence Executive are presenting a free community information session about Family Violence and Men’s Behaviour Change Program.

The Murray Public Health Network region is home to several different groups of refugees, including Hazara refugees from Afghanistan.
The aim of this project has been to explore the health experiences and needs of Hazara people in the Murray Public Health Network catchment, and to consider the barriers and opportunities for them to access health services.
