Victoria Police has launched multilingual videos to encourage people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities to seek help if they are experiencing family violence.
The videos are available in English, Arabic, Burmese, Chinese, Dari, Farsi, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Macedonian, Malay, Pashto, Polish, Punjabi, Russian, Serbian, Sinhalese, Somali, Spanish, Tamil, Thai, Turkish and Vietnamese.
Multicultural Awards To Recognise Extraordinary Victorians
The Victorian Government and the Victorian Multicultural Commission is gearing up to honour people and organisations that have strengthened the state’s multiculturalism. Minister for Multicultural Affairs Ros Spence today opened nominations for the Victorian Multicultural Awards for Excellence, which pay tribute to champions of diversity and others who have supported Victorians from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
