Multicultural Rental Rights Forum – June 2023

Tenants Victoria and Multicultural CommunityThe Victorian Multicultural Commission and Tenants Victoria will jointly host a multicultural renters forum online – on Tuesday 27 June 2023, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Attendance is FREE and this is important to all refugees, asylum seekers and CALD community members to attend and learn their rights.


Join our free online forum on renting a home in Victoria – Tuesday 27 June 2023

We know it’s a really challenging time for many Victorian renters right now. People tell us they are facing rent increases and the competition has increased to secure an affordable rental home.

More than ever, it’s important to be well informed about your rental rights. So, please join us for a helpful forum explaining rental rights in Victoria from the point of view of multicultural renters.

The online forum, jointly hosted with the Victorian Multicultural Commission and Tenants Victoria, the peak body for renters in our state, will be held on Tuesday 28 March 23, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Guided by expert tenancy lawyer Ben Cording, the forum will cover practical information for renters or people who are planning to rent their home soon, including new migrants and international students settling in our state. This forum will also give participants the chance to ask a question.
