Many of Shepparton’s Afghani community are constantly seeking information about family back home.

Want to help us open our doors this October? Join SAM’s Volunteer program! Shepparton Art Museum is looking for volunteers from the Multicultural community! SAM is partnering with St Paul’s African House and the Ethnic Council to build a group of multicultural Art Museum volunteers. SAM Volunteers create an impact at the Museum in a variety of different ways, including visitor services, cataloguing, and maintaining SAM’s library, providing guided tours to groups, as well as assisting with the facilitation of workshops, talks and other events. Applications close 19 of August!
GV Health is responsible for delivery of vaccines in Shepparton, Kyabram, Cobram, Mansfield, Seymour and Kilmore Health Services. Availability of vaccines for those aged 12-15 is given, and this includes indigenous children. Advice is also given about pregnant women and the vaccine.
Census officers will be visiting several locations over the next few days to help people with the Census form. In-language help will be given for Darai, Hazaragi, Arabic, Kirundi, Swahili languages.
