Greater Shepparton’s Chinese Community participated the monthly Culture Corner in Maude Street Mall on Saturday 5th of October from 10am – 2pm, showcasing some of their traditional clothing, music, food kung-fu and welcomed their new Chinese Lion with inauguration and blessing.
The Greater Shepparton Community Safety Networks will deliver two sessions on Respect and Resilience during Community Safety Month – October 2019. The sessions will be delivered on Tuesday 22 October and Thursday 24 October.
The FIND YOUR WAY program, developed and delivered by St Paul’s African House (SPAH), aims to encourage and support the social and economic participation of refugees and migrants from Africa and other parts ofthe world in the Shepparton community. The program is funded through the Commonwealth Government’s Fostering Integration Grant program.

Onam – a festival observed in Kerala, South India, was celebrated in Shepparton. Onam, held in August and September for 10 days, originated in Kerala to celebrate the golden rule of King Mahabali. Lord Vishnu came to earth in the form of a dwarf Brahmin who trampled Mahabali to the netherworld. But Lord Vishnu granted the king’s sole wish i.e. to visit his land and people once every year.
Shepparton Ethnic Council and District welcomes staff members of the Goulburn Valley Water who will participate in a day of discovery of Shepparton’s unique Multicultural communities.

Ethnic Council of Shepparton and District in collaboration with Catholic Care, Sandhurst will present free course in improving family relationships/family health for settlement communities of Greater Shepparton. The Course will be conducted over four sessions commencing 13 September 2019.
The Pakistani Community of Shepparton celebrated the 72nd Independence Day of Pakistan on the last weekend of August, 2019.
