‘Unmasked: Racism & Discrimination, Determinants of Health Inequity’ is an in-person and online event on Thursday, 27 April, at Monash University (Clayton campus). This event is a collaboration between Federation of Ethnic Communities’ Councils of Australia – FECCA’s Australian Multicultural Health Collaborative, the World Wellness Group and Monash University.
Victorian Transcultural Mental Health – in collaboration with Monash University and Harmony Alliance – will hold an online seminar on Wednesday, 1 December 2021 from 3:00 – 4:00pm to provide an overview from this important study. This study has particular reference to violence experienced by Refugee Women. This event is online, and free.
In partnership with the Harmony Alliance, the Monash Migration and Inclusion Centre is conducting the ‘Migrant and Refugee Women in Australia Survey’. This is a national survey to increase understandings of the issues of importance to women from migrant and refugee backgrounds, with a focus on safety and well-being. Findings from the survey will inform advocacy for migrant and refugee women from their own views and experiences.
